CyanogenMod 10 1 ROM for Micromax A110 Canvas 2 Pre Alpha Build
Micromax A110 Canvas 2 is getting really nice development support from developer. It has got many cool ROMs and MODs like ThunderZap v1.1 Kernel and many other MODs. It is cyanogenmod 10.1 (latest of CyanogenMod till now!) and it is Indian second device to get any compiled ROM (first was by me, and was booting). But this ROM is currently not booting up! The developer does not have this device so it is very tough for him to build a ROM without owning device. Varun Chitre (my nice friend) has done many projects like his JetMod for Samsung Galaxy S Advance is (maybe was) the best ROM for Samsung Galaxy S Advance. Varun Chitre also helped Micromax A110 community by making ThunderZap Kernel which is best kernel the have! CyanogenMod 10.1 is based on JellyBean 4.2 OS, and JellyBean 4.2 is much faster than GingerBread (2.3), Ice Cream Sandwitch (4.0), JellyBean (4.1).

This is Brilliant work by my friend Varun Chitre. He has made ThunderZap kernel and made JetMod 6.0 for Micromax A110 (which was removed due to XDA rules or some other issue). He is Recognized Developer and Recognized Contributor so you can think how much he has knowledge. He does not own Micromax A110 Canvas 2. He is not at all responsible if you bricked your Micromax A110 Canvas 2. Now, he made CyanogenMod 10.1 ROM for Micromax A110 Canvas 2.
This ROM is Pre-Alpha and does not boot. You might be thinking that the developer is not good developer? But I want to tell you that the developer i.e., Varun Chitre does not own this device but he is still trying to make it boot. Compiling a ROM is not an easy job. It takes much time for building, fixing and you need have good knowledge. Anyway, This ROM is based on JellyBean 4.2 OS released by Google and this ROM is CyanogenMod 10.1. CyanogenMod is not related to google. It is just custom firmware provider and CyanogenMod offers you awesome features which are not in the stock AOSP JellyBean like theme changer, DSP manager etc. CyanogenMod is based on Android Open Source Project with contribution of many people. CyanogenMod releases their ROMs for popular brands like Samsung, HTC, LG etc, but this ROM is not from CyanogenMod and from Varun Chitre.
If you are experienced on un-bricking Micromax A110 Canvas 2 or know how to flash full ICS package in Micromax A110 Canvas 2. This ROM is not booting so you will end up in bricking the device. To unbrick, you need to flash Full ICS package by SP tool. This is just a soft brick so dont think it will be tough to un-brick it.

If you want the developer to make this ROM alpha (current it is Pre Alpha) and to fix the bugs in this ROM, please contribute money to Varun Chitre. He will be very happy if you contribute to him. And if you can give logcat(s) and dmesg(s) then it would be very good. If you can give to developer then it would be nice, or you can upload and give me the links, I will give them to Varun Chitre.

Working1 USB> To connect to computer for getting logcat.
2 ADB> To collect logcat from Micromax A110 Canvas 2.
Not WorkingEverything except USB and ADB. (Wi-Fi, 3G, 2G, Bluetooth, Not even booting, Camera etc).
How To Support Developer-
If you want the developer to make this ROM alpha (current it is Pre Alpha) and to fix the bugs in this ROM, please contribute money to Varun Chitre. He will be very happy if you contribute to him.
